Nordic Ball

Join us at the 47th Annual Nordic Ball!

This evening of dance, music, culture, and community has been a beloved tradition in the Twin Cities for upwards of 40 years.

Attendees can enjoy 5+ hours of live music from a variety of local ensembles, open dancing as well as beginner-friendly mixers and the Grand March, a cash bar, and Nordic inspired cuisine.

You are invited to wear your traditional folk costume if you have one, if not, lean into your creativity and wear an outfit you would enjoy dancing the night away in!

Scandia (Spelmansstämman)

Levitt Foundation and SHA present fiddle music from across the globe with Marine's own Brian Wickund!

Spelmansstämman is a long-standing Swedish folk music tradition based on outdoor gatherings (stämma) of Swedish musicians (spelman) to share music, friendship, and playing. At a traditional stämma, a small group of musicians share tunes they love and have in common. Gammelgården’s 36th annual event will feature multiple musicians performing throughout the day, including Scandinavian fiddlers and Japanese musicians.
